I post my Overnight Fasting Blood Glucose (OFBG) ‘testing’ pictures ALL THE TIME on facebook and twitter.
Well… not ‘all the time’ but every time I test. I only test once a week or two (unless I am experimenting) I KNOW that flies in the face of EVERYTHING anyone tells you BUT here is why I only read weekly (+/-) …
… I HAVE NORMAL BLOOD SUGAR!!! and I do NOT take drugs nor INSULIN
… if you do NOT have normal blood sugar OR if you are on drugs or INSULIN … please follow your doctor’s advice on blood sugar readings.
If your doctor is pushing the American Diabetes Association (ADA) meal plan …I urge you to seek another doctor who does not push a meal plan that will only keep you on ever increasing drugs and insulin.
Back to today’s post… as I stated I post these all the time to Facebook and Twitter but I realize only a fraction of those that read this blog are friends on those social media outlets…. so I am posting more of my day to day ‘stuff’ on my blog.

** NOTE: I also do NOT wash my fingers prior to reading my blood sugar…. I have no need to do so.
…. if you eat the ADA meal plan…. then you may want to wash up.
